Course Outline
This course is in compliance with EASA EC 2042/03 Part-66,
Appendix
III "Type Training and Examination Standard" and is a
mechanics/electrics course according to ATA 104 level III for
mechanics and avionics systems.
The participant will acquire knowledge necessary to ensure
safe
performance of maintenance, inspections and routine work
according to
the maintenance manual and other relevant instructions and
tasks as
appropriate for the type of aircraft, for example
troubleshooting,
repairs, adjustments, replacements, rigging and functional
checks if
required. After the course they will be able to correctly use all
technical literature and documentation for the aircraft and to
correctly use specialist/special tooling and test equipment,
perform
removal and replacement of components and modules unique
to type,
including any on-wing maintenance activity.
Description:
Target Group
EASA Part-66 category B1 and/or B2 recommended or other
experienced
maintenance staff like technical
personnel associated with line and base maintenance
activities.
Maintenance Certifying Technicians -
Mechanics, who are holders of a basic license or equivalent
and who
seek type qualification on the
aircraft. Trainees may be required to work on day/night shifts!

Prerequisite
Student must be able to read, write and communicate at an
understandable level in English language.
Please note: Personnel must have successfully accomplished
the type
rating course in theory
for this aircraft type to get a type rating within their aircraft
maintenance licence after this course! The
theoretical part must take place in front of the practical in
accordance to EC 2042/03.

Examination
Practical assessment in accordance with the examination
standards of
the EASA.
